My interest in writing goes back a few generations. My grandfather was a great freelance writer who wrote for various publications including Yankee Magazine and the Herald American (now called The Boston Herald). He was also a Journailsm professor in love with the English language and often corrected us at the dinner table by tapping us on the fingers when we used the improper tense of a word. Coincidentally, he gave me my name, Katrina Lee. Though he passed away when I was a little girl his passion for writing lives on, in me. Whether genetic or not, my love of writing continues to guide me through my life and my career.
My strong passions for the written word, and my vast experience in online marketing have led me to where I am today. I’ve found that my core skills as a journalist provide me with an inquisitive nature and a concise style that lend them well to writing for the web. These skills combined with my traditional public relations and marketing background, as well as my Internet marketing experience, has given me a strong toolbox to draw from.
I have a lot of experience, both as an enthusiast and a professional, in the outdoor recreation category – I love to cycle and snowboard and live a few minutes away from Bolton Valley Resort, where I continuously find new lines and meet great people. I’m also a musician. I dabble in Djembe, Taiko drumming and I have been playing fiddle for over 10 years and can be seen in local restaurants, bars, pubs and concert venues with my band, Muddy Boots.
I would love the opportunity to talk to you about how I can utilize my experiences and my passions to help you grow your brand.
